Since our inception Newman and Gray has focused on the restoration of classic wooden and fiberglass boats. In the past year the yard completed extensive work on three different wooden boats. These restorations can be viewed under the recent projects category. We are fully equipped to handle nearly any work that the customer can request on their sail or powerboat. Custom woodwork, painting and varnishing, canvas work, and electrical and mechanical systems upgrades. |

![]() Fancy Stuff has seen better days. All the systems onboard were worn out and the cabin, decks, and platform had been used hard. |
![]() We purchased the boat as we have a long history with Bunker and Ellis boats and Jarvis Newman is, of course, Raymond Bunker's son-in-law. |
![]() The boat was slowly torn apart as we had not yet decided how to finish it off. |
![]() The boat was sold and it was decided that we would turn it into a lobster yacht. |
![]() The interior was mocked up with quarter inch plywood so the owner could get a feel for the interior space. |
